Peyton Manning Doesn’t Want Andrew Luck
According to what Peyton Manning’s father Archie told Fox Sports Radio, his son doesn’t really want to play on the same team as Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
“I don’t think it’d necessarily be great for either one,” the elder Manning said. “I doubt if either one want to play on the same team.”
Manning went on to say that Luck is the type of player that is mature enough and talented enough to walk right in and take over as the starter.
If in fact the Indianapolis Colts win the Luck sweepstakes and it sure looks as if they are going to do so, Peyton Manning’s time with the Colts just may come to an end if they decide to part ways with him and go with Luck next season.
With the Colts owing Manning another $28 million in March, the writing may be on the wall even before the Colts draft Luck next April.
