Heisman Finalists Announced

The five finalists for the Heisman Trophy were announced. Andrew Luck of Stanford, who has been considered next season's number one pick for the NFL, was of course on the list.
Alabama and LSU will have a rematch in the BCS title game, and both teams have a Heisman candidate. Trent Richardson from the Crimson Tide and LSU's Tyrann Mathieu are two more of the finalists. Rounding out the list of five are Wisconsin's Montee Ball and Baylor QB Robert Griffin III.
On Saturday Night the trophy will be awarded for the 77th time in New York. Clearly missing from the list was USC's Matt Barkley. However, he was hurt by the sanctions placed on his school by the NCAA for something that happened before he was there.
