Raiders Get Some Bad News

A rough season for the Oakland Raiders family has gotten rougher.
Former Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Chester McGlockton passed away early Wednesday morning from a massive heart attack. The former Pro Bowler was just 42.
"The thoughts and prayers of the Raider Nation are with the McGlockton family during this difficult time," Raiders CEO Amy Trask said.
The Raiders had drafted McGlockton in the first round of the ’92 draft. He played the bulk of his career with them from 1992-97, making the Pro Bowl from 1994-97. He last played in the NFL for the New York Jets in 2003.
Over the span of his career he recorded 555 tackles, 51 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and four interceptions. For the last two seasons he had been working as an assistant on the defensive staff at Stanford.
Earlier this season the team’s longtime owner, Al Davis, passed away at the age of 82.
