Vikings put Four Players on I.R.
Written by Nolan Thomas, Tuesday November 29 2011
The season just got much more difficult to the reeling Minnesota Vikings after they placed four players, safeties Husain Abdullah and Tyrell Johnson, long snapper Cullen Loeffler and starting receiver Michael Jenkins on injured reserve on Tuesday.
Abdullah has a concussion, Johnson has a strained right hamstring and Loeffler broke a bone in his lower back while Jenkins as an unspecified knee injury.
The most recent injuries have the Vikings searching for healthy players, which just add to the anguish of a 2-9 season.
To fill the roster spots the Vikings signed receiver Stephen Burton, long snapper Matt Katula, safeties Jarrad Page and Andrew Sendejo.
