Lions Ndamukong Suh Suspended Two Games
Written by Nolan Thomas, Tuesday November 29 2011
For slamming a Packers players head into the turf three times and then deliberately stomping on his arm in front of a national television audience on Thanksgiving Day, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been suspended without pay for two games by the NFL.
Suh will miss Sunday night’s game at New Orleans along with a home game against the Vikings on Dec 11 and can not practice or be at the Lions’ practice facility during the suspension for any reason what so ever.
Suh has three days to appeal the suspension, however, if he does in fact appeal, the league plans to expedite the hearing so that a decision is made prior to the Lions game against the Saints.
Suh insisted during his postgame news conference that he did not intentionally step on the Packer player, which was the biggest bunch of cow dung that people have ever heard since it was so blatantly obvious from the video that it was intentional.
His comments only increased his reputation as the NFL’s dirtiest player. This season, Suh has already been fined three times for roughing the passer plus one time for unsportsmanlike conduct and since last season he leads the league with nine personal fouls.
