Changes Coming In Jacksonville
Written by Christopher Corazon, Tuesday November 29 2011
It's that time of year again, it's the start of bowl season. First up: The "Who will move to Los Angeles Bowl" with two contestants, Jacksonville vs. San Diego.
While there is no truth to the rumor that the winner of Sunday's game between the Jaguars and the Chargers will move to La La Land, there will be changes coming to Jacksonville. There is an ownership change coming, and the news today that Jack Del Rio is fired.
The firing should not be a big surprise as Del Rio was given an ultimatum to make the playoffs this year. At 3-8, there is no chance of that happening. Del Rio was in his ninth season with the Jags, and his record was 69-73. They were 1-2 in the playoffs under his tenure.
