Falcons Need Talons
Written by Daniel Turner, Monday November 28 2011
The Falcons may have beaten the woeful Vikings yesterday but it was only because the Vikes refused to be handed a come from behind victory.
Facing Minnesota on a day when they were without Adrian Peterson the Falcons still had to struggle to come away with a 24-14 victory. Hell, the Vikes managed a 103 yard kickoff return and couldn’t put the ball in the end zone, so it was more their inability than Atlanta’s killer instinct.
Blowing leads is common for this season’s Falcons and it could keep them out of the postseason.
