Urban Meyer to Coach Ohio State
Written by Nolan Thomas, Monday November 28 2011
After rumors and speculation spread for weeks, former Florida coach Urban Meyer will be announced as the new head football coach at Ohio State.
Although not official until it is formally announced, reports are saying that Meyer reached an agreement with the University that would pay him almost $6 million a year.
After winning two national championships during his six years as the Florida head coach, he retired a year ago citing health concerns and the desire to spend time with his family.
Meyer began his coaching career at Ohio State as an assistant in 1986 and now he is returning as the head coach 25 years later.
