Texans Win But Lose Another QB
Written by Nolan Thomas, Sunday November 27 2011
The Houston Texans won 20-13 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but in the process they lost yet another starting quarterback.
Matt Leinart, who was filling in for the injured Matt Schaub, injured his throwing shoulder in the first half and he believes he broke his collarbone which would probably end his season.
Now it will be up to the third string quarterback to lead the Texans to the postseason for the first time in franchise history.
The Texans have either T.J. Yates or the newly signed Kellen Clemens to choose from. In relief of Leinart, Yates completed 8 of 15 passes for 70 yards but managed only 47 yards with two first downs in the second half.
