NBA Coming Back For Christmas
Written by Christopher Corazon, Saturday November 26 2011
Some where, some kid must have asked Santa Claus "All I want for Christmas is the NBA". Santa said, "You got it kid."
The owners and players have a hand shake on a deal that will end the lockout. It will take extra time to ratify the agreement because the union decertified. But a 66 game schedule will begin with a triple header on Christmas. Boston will host the Knicks, while there will be a rematch of last year's NBA Finals as the Heat will go to Dallas. The Bulls will also play the Lakers.
The NFL did not cancel any regular season games with their lockout. Some might say the NBA season does not start until Christmas anyway. Christmas is coming, so is the NBA. And yes Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus.
