Dallas Cowboys Almost Pull a Fast One
Written by Travis Pulver, Wednesday November 23 2011
When Kyle Orton was released by the Broncos recently, the world seemed to think it was kismet and he’d end up back in Chicago (since Jay Cutler broke his thumb). The former Bear will be going to a team on the bubble though—the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dallas had tried to get in on the Orton lottery with current back-up Jon Kitna injured. Their desire may have been more aimed at keeping Orton out of Chicago though since the ‘Boys and Bears could be meeting in the wildcard round (and Orton could step in and start for the Bears rather quickly).
