Boise St. & Stanford Fall from the Unbeatens
No. 5 Boise St. and No. 4 Stanford both took a big dent in their National Title hopes as they both fell from the ranks of the unbeatens on Saturday.
Boise St. lost 36-35 to TCU after missing a game wining field goal as the clock ran out. TCU went for a two point conversion instead of an extra point which would have tied the game with 1:19 to go in the game. Gutsy call!
Stanford lost 53-30 to No. 6 Oregon, who controlled the line of scrimmage, had four takeaways and held quarterback Andrew Luck in check. Every time that Stanford would score to make the game close, Oregon would march right down the field to widen the margin once again.
No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Oklahoma St. are now the only remaining unbeaten teams in the BCS race.
