Paterno May be Ousted by Penn State
Long time Penn State football coach Joe Paterno may be ousted by the school following the recent sex scandal involving Jerry Sandusky, the former defensive coordinator on two national championship teams in 1980s, who was arrested Saturday on charges of sexually abusing eight boys over a 15 year time span.
According to reports, Paterno’s reputation has eroded with the Penn State trustees who are possibly planning to remove Joe Pa within days or maybe weeks but no later than the end of the football season.
Penn State administrators canceled Paterno's weekly news conference in which he was expected to answer questions concerning the sex abuse scandal.
If in fact this is Paterno’s last season with Penn State and he is fired or forced to retire, it will be the end of a legend in college football.
