Raiders May be in Trouble
Written by Travis Pulver, Thursday November 03 2011
Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose; however, the Oakland Raiders sure can without the services of their star running back Darren McFadden.
The Raider Nation was already a little nervous about how their best start in years could end when Jason Campbell was knocked out, but since the offense was really based around the running game they knew they could survive. However, now there is doubt on the availability of the former Razorback.
McFadden was injured early in the Raiders’ 28-0 loss to the Chiefs. He has been spotted in a walking boot and on crutches this week and has not practiced.
His absence may not be noticed too much against the Denver Broncos, but without McFadden, they could easily slip out of contention in the AFC West.
