Sparano’s Job Apparently Safe…For Now
Written by Nolan Thomas, Monday October 24 2011
After the Miami Dolphins blew a 15 point lead in the fourth quarter, fall to 0-6 on the season and adding to the legend of Tim Tebow on Sunday, apparently head coach Tony Sparano’s job is still safe, for now.
But if the Dolphins slide continues and they win the Andrew Luck sweepstakes there are a few unemployed coaches who just might start lining up in Miami for the job with Bill Cowher, Jeff Fisher or Jon Gruden coming to mind.
In addition, it was interesting to see Dolphins owner Stephen Ross talking with former Florida coach Urban Meyer on the sideline Sunday, especially while his former Gator QB was pulling out the game for Denver.
Was Ross recruiting the former college coach?
