Ravens Got Their D Back
Written by Daniel Turner, Wednesday October 19 2011
The Baltimore Ravens are playing that style of football they love, letting their defense run wild, and the credit goes to new defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano.
Since being promoted from the D backs coach Pagano has reinstituted the blitz that allows defenders like Ray Lewis to freelance and wreak havoc. With 2011 being the year of the passer, having the Ravens D loose and free has allowed them to accumulate 14 sacks so far and has them headed toward a possible season total of 50 QB dumps.
