Polamalu Cleared To Play
Written by Daniel Turner, Tuesday October 18 2011
Maybe it’s the hair, but Troy Polamalu has shaken off concussion like symptoms he suffered after a clash with Maurice Jones-Drew’s knees in Sunday’s game against Jacksonville and is expected to play this Sunday.
The Steelers have rated Polamalu “good to go” after sitting him out for the two final defensive series in their 17-13 win.
Polamalu may have run afoul of league rules after being benched when he called his wife while on the sidelines to tell her he was okay.
Mike Tomlin doubts the call will draw a fine.
