I don't have time for this....

Coach Tomlin spoke on a conference call with the Jacksonville media yesterday, which is not a requirement of coaches to speak with opposing team media. But the call ended abrutly when they kept asking questions about the 2007 playoff game against Jacksonville that the Steelers lost. After a few questions about this 4 year old game Tomlin asked if anyone had relevant questions, waited a pause and hung up on the reporters. Good for him, he’s a busy guy and it’s not part of his required obligations, so why should he sit around answering questions that are not relevant. Anyway here are some of the quotes that jacksonville.com posted following the interview:

“Guys, come on man. I’m not going to cry over four-year-old spilled milk. Anybody got any legitimate questions? Goll-lly,” Tomlin said, clearly perturbed.

“Guys, that was four years ago,” Tomlin said. “I understand that might have been a big game in Jacksonville but that’s old news. Many of those guys are no longer here and definitely many of the guys that were in Jacksonville are no longer there. Anybody got any questions relative to this week?”

I personally love the jab about it might have been a big game in Jacksonville but it’s old news in Pittsburgh, we’ve won a Super Bowl and been to another since then.
