Brewers Tie NLCS at 2-2
The Milwaukee Brewers tied the National League Championship Series at two games apiece with a 4-2 win in St. Louis Thursday night.
The Cardinals took a 2-0 lead with solo homeruns by Matt Holliday in the second inning and Allen Craig in the third inning but the Brewers tied it in the fourth inning on an RBI double by Jerry Hairston which was followed by an RBI single by Yuniesky Betancourt.
The Brewers added a single run in the fifth and then another in the sixth to take the lead.
Randy Wolf pitched seven innings for the win and John Axford earned the save.
