It’s Official: Tebow to Start for Broncos
Denver Broncos coach John Fox officially announced on Tuesday that Tim Tebow will start at quarterback over Kyle Orton when they play the Miami Dolphins after they return from their bye week.
Since Orton came to the Broncos from the Chicago Bears in a trade for Jay Cutler, he is 12-21 as the starting quarterback. However, after winning his first six games with the team, Orton is 6-21.
If the Broncos want to win with Tebow, the best bet would be to let him be himself, as he was when he won All-America honors, two national championships and a Heisman Trophy at Florida, instead of trying to make him into a pure pocket passer and prototypical NFL quarterback.
