Lions 5-0 for first time in 55 Years

After beating the Chicago Bears Monday night, the Detroit Lions are 5-0 for the first time since 1956 and for those counting that is 55 years.
The Lions are now one of only two teams in the NFL to remain undefeated, the other being divisional rival and the defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.
They have a very good young quarterback in Matthew Stafford, who went 19 of 26 for 219 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, along with arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL in Calvin Johnson, who has nine touchdowns in five games, and a defensive line that is relentless at causing havoc in the backfield.
In addition, the 12th man, the fans in Detroit, helped out as well causing enough noise in Ford Field that the Bears committed nine false start penalties in the game.
The Lions are definitely for real and a team to be reckoned with this season.
