Cardinals In Braves Out
The St. Louis Cardinals put the pressure on the Atlanta Braves with an early 8-0 win over the Houston Astros and it was too much to handle as the Philadelphia Phillies ended the Braves season with a 4-3 win in extra innings.
The Braves has a 10.5 lead in the wild card race at the beginning of the month but the Cardinals got hot and the Braves let the big lead go all the way down the last game of the season.
The Braves had a one run lead going into the ninth but blew that lead as well. It just was not meant to be for the Braves this season.
