Falcons Offense Needs Some Work
Written by Daniel Turner, Tuesday September 27 2011
The 1-2 Falcons have not been pretty offensively. Matt Ryan has absorbed 13 sacks and 21 hits overall and the season is frightfully young. Mike Smith is painfully aware of their offensive shortcomings, but he is looking beyond the players.
Smith believes the problems are “systematic” and it appears he is challenging his coaching staff to find a solution.
The fact that the Falcons scored all their points on Sunday when operating out of the no huddle offense demonstrates that a rework is necessary.
