Is it time for the Colts to call Favre?
Written by Nolan Thomas, Monday September 19 2011
With Peyton Manning out indefinitely and Kerry Collins unable to produce for the 0-2 Indianapolis Colts, is it time for them to call Brett Favre out of retirement to save the season?
Some people in Indy sure think so and they are anxiously awaiting a call to Mississippi to get the aged quarterback off his tractor and back on the football field once again, this time in blue and white.
Collins is definitely not the answer and the Colts say they are not going to throw rookie draft pick Curtis Painter into the fire, so their only options may be to call Favre or just wait around and see if they will be bad enough to draft Stanford’s Andrew Luck in next years draft.
