Peyton Manning Maybe Out for Season or Career
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning had another surgery on his neck which will keep him out of action for at least 2-3 months and possibly keep him out for the entire 2011 season. It could also end his career if complications arise.
Thursday morning, Manning underwent cervical fusion surgery where surgeons remove a herniated disc and put a bone graft in its place.
This follows the May 23 surgery that the Pro Bowl quarterback had to repair a bulging disc in his neck.
After consulting with numerous neurosurgeons, it was decided that it was best for Manning to have the second surgery.
