Lee Roy Selmon in Critical Condition after Stroke
Lee Roy Selmon, the only Tampa Bay Buccaneers player in the Football Hall of Fame, remains in critical condition after suffering a stroke on Friday.
Selmon, 57, is reported to have a blood clot in his heart and family members are calling the situation grave at this point as prognoses says that he has a 20 percent chance of survival with brain damage.
The former defensive end was a star lineman at the University of Oklahoma and served as athletic director for the University of South Florida.
On Saturday, USF players wore his old number on their helmets during their victory over Notre Dame in South Bend.
