OSU Coach Mike Gundy Fires Contractor Over T-Shirt
Four years ago, Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy made the infamous ranting quote that he is a man, really acted like one after allegedly firing a home improvement contractor because he wore an Oklahoma Sooners T-shirt to work.
The contractor is suing Gundy over the firing for lost potential wages. According to the contractor, Gundy approached him and asked him “How dare you come into my house and offend my wife?” Unsure what Gundy was referring to, the contractor asked him and was told “That (expletive) shirt you have on.”
The contractor said that it was dark when he dressed that morning and did not even realize was wearing an Oklahoma shirt.
Gundy is denying the claim via his lawyer.
If there is one, I wonder if the contractors’ lawyer will wear a Big-12 tie clasp from a team other then OSU at the trial just for effect.
Then maybe Gundy will get peeved, stand up and scream “I am a man!”
