Dwyane Wade will Play "Somewhere" this Season.
Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade said that he is hopeful that the NBA lockout will end in time to save the season, but if that does not happen, he will play basketball somewhere this season.
"I'm going to play basketball this year," Wade said. "I don't know where, but I love the game so much that I will play it. And we will figure that out."
Obviously if the lockout continues, Wade will no doubt be playing with an international club somewhere, although he has denied reports that he received a $2 million-per-month offer from a Chinese team. Wade said that he was overwhelmed by the support he received from Chinese fans during a nine-day trip to China that ended last week.
Wade said that he will review any offers that come his way but that he would obviously prefer the lockout to be settled and have the NBA season go on as usual.
