Adam “Pacman” Jones in Trouble Again
Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones is in trouble again after he was arrested in Cincinnati on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and resisting arrest on Sunday.
Some people just never change and this newest offense against Jones just adds to his list of off-the-field troubles. Jones was the Tennessee Titans first-round draft pick in 2005 and has repeatedly been in trouble off the field, including at least six other arrests and a dozen instances that involved the police.
Jones was arrested and jailed around 3 a.m. and then released later in the morning.
Reports out of Cincinnati reported that documents filed say that Jones allegedly was being disorderly and shouting profanities in a downtown bar and then tried to pull away as police officers were arresting him.
Naturally, after leaving jail Jones denied the allegations and claimed once again that he did no wrongdoing and was falsely arrested. He said he had not been drinking and did not yell profanities at the police or resist arrest. He was apparently out with his wife to celebrate her birthday.
