Seahawks Apparently Made Offer for Eagles Kolb
With the NFL lockout still in effect, rumors abound about not only the two sides coming to an agreement, but what some of the moves teams are going to make once an agreement is finally reached.
The most recent rumor is that the Seattle Seahawks have already offered the Philadelphia Eagles a first- and third-round pick for backup quarterback Kevin Kolb.
Kolb, who was slated to be the Eagles starter after they traded Donovan McNabb to the divisional rival Washington Redskins, lost his job to Michael Vick who took over the job after Kolb was injured and had a career year.
Now the Eagles are definitely looking to move Kolb and his salary, may have a bidding war on their hands as other rumors have the Arizona Cardinals, who are in desperate need of a good starting quarterback, have interest in Kolb as well.
Either team would probably be a good fit for Kolb although the Seahawks may just be trying to drive up the price for their divisional rival.
With all the rumors surrounding Kolb, it is hard to know what is rumor and what is fact but he probably will end up in the NFC West either way.
