Red Sox vs. Phillies, A World Series Preview?
Written by Christopher Corazon, Tuesday June 28 2011
The Boston Red Sox start an interleague match with the Phillies. For the fans, they are hoping that this might be a preview of a World Series match in October.
This was the thought at the start of the season. The Phillies have what some argue to be the best rotation of all time. When the Red Sox lost the first six games, and then were 2-10, fanic took place in Boston as the fans started to panic.
The series starts with Josh Beckett facing Cliff Lee. Lee enters the game with a 23.1 scoreless inning streak. The second game is an unexpected match between John Lackey and Vance Worley. The final game features two nine game winners, Jon Lester and Cole Hamels.

It would have been a sweep if Hamels didn't get hurt.
