With a 4-1 margin across the United States, NBA fans are very happy Monday morning as Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat’s big three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to win their first NBA Championship.

Last summer, James, Wade, and Bosh all conspired to sign with the Heat after months of speculation and hoopla ending with much hyped ESPN special titled “The Decision” in which LeBron announced where he would be playing in 2011.

Ever since that moment, just about every NBA fan, except those in Miami, has been rooting for against the Heat. Some fans were more interested in the Heat losing and the big three failing then they were with their own team winning.

Once the big three signed in Miami, talk of numerous championships were being discussed as if it was a sure thing, a no-brainer that you could take to the bank.

After defeating the 76ers, the Celtics and the Bulls, to the dismay of many an NBA fan, the Heat were in the finals and the fan base for the Dallas Mavericks suddenly grew immensely across the country.

Joy to the World, the Mavericks won their first championship by beating the hated conspirators’ four games to two to hoist the NBA Trophy while the big three of James, Wade, and Bosh all have their tails between their legs with all summer to think about it.

Don’t you just love it when justice prevails?
