Ryan Leaf has Brain Tumor Removed
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf had a benign tumor removed from his brain stem and is recovering in California afater being released from the hospital on Saturday.
Leaf saw a doctor on May 18 after experiencing headaches, dizziness and blurred vision and had surgery a week later at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif.
Leaf, who was highly touted by the NFL coming out of Washington State was the second pick of the 1998 draft by the San Diego Chargers is considered one the NFL’s biggest busts.
He played for the Chargers from 1998-2000 and then for the Cowboys in 2001.
