Falcons can clinch Playoff Spot this Sunday
The 10-2 Atlanta Falcons are on a six game winning streak and with a victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday there is a possibility they could clinch the first NFC playoff spot.
Of course they are going to need some help as just a win will not do the trick. Here are the different scenarios that the Falcons need to clinch a playoff spot.
If the Falcons win and the New York Giants lose and the Philadelphia Eagles lose, the Falcons are in.
If the Falcons win and the New York Giants lose and the Green Bay Packers lose, the Falcons are in.
If the Falcons win and the Philadelphia Eagles lose and the Green Bay Packers lose, the Falcons are in.
If the Falcons tie the Panthers and the New York Giants lose, the Philadelphia Eagles lose, the Green Bay Packers lose and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose or tie, the Falcons are in.
There are also scenarios in which the Falcons can clinch a playoff spot if any of the games involving the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, or Green Bay Packers end in a tie.
