Peyton Finally Plays Like Peyton
Written by Travis Pulver, Friday December 10 2010
All good streaks must come to an end. On the other hand, so must the bad ones, too. For Peyton Manning and theIndianapolis Colts their bad streaks could not end soon enough.
Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans the three-game losing streak finally ended for the Colts as they beat the Titans 30-28. The win keeps them alive for their seventh division title in eight seasons.
Perhaps an even worse streak was ended. Peyton Manning finally played like the Peyton Manning that fans know and love completing 25 of 35 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns. For the first time since week 10 he did not throw an interception.
It also ended a streak of un-Peyton like performances (too many interceptions and low QB ratings) dating back to the Washington game in week six, the last time he had a QB rating over 100.
The Colts next play the Jacksonvilel Jaguars on December 19.
