Bama Goes Bowling Without Barron
Written by Daniel Turner, Friday December 03 2010
The Crimson Tide will have to go to next month’s bowl game without safety Mark Barron. Barron tore his right pectoral muscle against Auburn; an injury whose severity he did not realize until he tried to lift his arms while defending against what turned into an Auburn 70 yard touchdown pass.
While Barron will not be available to the bowl bound Tide the resulting surgery will most certainly stop him from declaring early to the NFL draft and bring him back for his senior season.
