At 11-1 Michigan St. faces being shutout from a BCs bowl because only two Big Ten teams will be invited. Coach Bielema feels their pain having walked in their shoes in 2006.

That year, Bielema’s first as coach, the Badgers went 11-1 and had to watch the BCS games on TV. Next year the Big Ten will have a championship game to anoint the automatic qualifier. It could still have three way ties, but  Bielema wishes the Badgers could face the Spartans for a BCS shot this year.
