LeBron James Return to Cleveland Looming

With LeBron James returning to Cleveland on Thursday and most Cavalier fans waiting for the moment to not welcome him home, James tried his best to make the best of a tense situation.
"I think it's going to be very emotional for myself," James said. "I've got a lot of great memories in that city. So many times, from ups and downs, and a lot of things that I've done in my life, I give a lot of thanks to that city, lot of thanks to those fans for giving me the opportunity to not only showcase my talent but grow from a young boy to a man."
Regardless, the city of Cleveland will not be rolling out the red carpet for LeBron and it would be of no surprise if there was a lynch mob waiting for him instead.
The fans in Cleveland were not a happy bunch when LeBron decided to bolt for the Miami Heat, announcing the decision on nationally televised ESPN special and they have been holding a grudge ever since.
The NBA might have helped him somewhat in knowing what might be in store for James.
The Heat plays at home on Wednesday night and because of this, they will not arrive in Cleveland until early Thursday morning and will not practice that day.
They will just have a meeting and a walk through at the hotel and the security will be overloaded as well. The team will take a bus to the game and then go right to the airport after the game limiting any additional time that LeBron will have to spend in his old stomping grounds.
LeBron continues to say that he remains "very respectful" of fans who cheered him for seven years in Cleveland, but that it is still only one game.
