Win Streak Ends For Boise State
Written by Christopher Corazon, Saturday November 27 2010
Boise State started the season in Washington with a win over Virginia Tech, one of the top teams in the ACC. With a win there, they were expected to win most of their conference games and create a head ache for the BCS system. And it was going to plan until their winning streak finally ended.
#19 Nevada defeated #3 Boise State in overtime 34-31. It snapped the winning streak at 24. Boise State had also won their last 10 meetings against Nevada, and their winning streak against Mountain West opponents.
Nevada coach Chris Ault called it "the greatest win the university has ever had."
