Tides McElroy Takes On The Rhodes

Alabama QB Greg McElroy has more to prepare for than a game against LSU and battling Auburn for the Iron Bowl. McElroy has been named as a finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship to would allow him to continue his studies at Oxford University in England.
McElroy caught a break since his Rhodes interview is scheduled for November 20, the day he was supposed to play Georgia State. The game has been moved up to the 18th to allow the team more time to prepare for the Iron Bowl.
