Mallett Hurt in Loss to Auburn
Written by Travis Pulver, Sunday October 17 2010
Quarterback and Heisman trophy contender Ryan Mallett had to leave the game against Auburn in the first half after taking a blow to the head making it difficult for the Arkansas Razorbacks to compete with #7 Auburn.
Arkansas hung with Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers for most of the game even without Mallett, but in the end it was Auburn that came out on top winning 65-43.
The game holds the distinction of being the highest scoring SEC game that did not go in to overtime. There has been no word yet on the severity of Mallett's injury.
