Seahawks Could Still Tinker With Roster
Written by Daniel Turner, Friday October 08 2010
One thing the inconsistent Seahawks have been consistent with this season is making roster moves. In the week between preseason and regular season they practically overhauled the team.
Even this week they continue to tinker by adding Marshawn Lynch at running back. Now it appears that Deion Branch could be leaving their overstuffed receivers corps and returning to New England.
While no one on either side is saying it’s a done deal, it has been reported the Tom Brady took time out from peddling Red Zone on Xfinity to call Branch and discuss his possible return.
The Seahawks may be rich in receivers, but New England just sent the unhappy Randy Moss packing and probably wouldn’t mind having a player who would like to return to Foxboro take his place.
Outside of receivers the Seahawks can use plenty, so the deal should be go forth, much to Brady’s delight.
