Something’s Gotta Give When Wisconsin Meets Michigan State
Written by Daniel Turner, Friday October 01 2010
When the Badgers open their Big Ten campaign against the Spartans on Saturday along with being a matchup of AP Top 25 Teams it is also a meeting between the Big Ten Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year. So, like Superboy running into Superman, the irresistible force will meet the immovable object.
Wisconsin running back John Clay is the offensive part of the matchup and he feels that the Badgers can run on anyone and will do it against the Spartans. Michigan State linebacker Greg Jones is a force to be reckoned with and is deservedly the Defensive Player of the Year.
Not content to rest on his laurels Jones claims this game will be his defining moment as a collegiate linebacker. If Clay can fulfill on his promise to run the clash of these titans should be an entertaining way to open their conference season.
