Ravens Flacco Still Confident after 4 INTs

This week will be a first for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. He has never had to rebound from a four interception game before, something he will have to do after last week’s loss against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Flacco’s four interceptions were a big reason for the 15-10 defeat to the Bengals.

Flacco is approaching it in the right way though, he has put it past him and he is practicing as if it never happened.

“For us players, the game’s over as soon as we leave the locker room. There’s not much you can do about it after the fact,” Flacco said. “You have to move on to the next week, focus on that opponent and try to get a win.”

After reviewing film of the game, Flacco only felt bad about the second of his four interceptions and thought that the other three were just good plays by the Bengals defense.

That is all fine and dandy, but after acquiring receivers Anquan Boldin and T.J. Houshmandzadeh they felt that they had added some potent weapons to complement the Ravens high powered running game.

So far this season the Ravens offense has scored only two touchdowns in two games and is 1-1 even though their defense has not given up a touchdown yet.

And naturally, as it usually goes, the quarterback, Flacco, is getting most of the blame for the Ravens offensive woes.

As is typical around the league with the media and the fans, quarterbacks get too many accolades when the team wins and too much flack when the team losses.

Flacco is not worried though and has all the confidence that he and the team will turn it around, and soon, like this week in the home opener against the Cleveland Browns.

Last season, the Ravens outscored the Browns 50-6, which could be a big reason for Flacco’s confidence.
