LSU’s Defense and Special Teams Provide All the Offense Needed
Written by Daniel Turner, Tuesday September 21 2010
Mississippi State gave the Tigers offense all the pressure it needed, but the defensive unit and special teams play paved the way for a victory.
TheBayou Bengals nabbed five interceptions helping to start their offensive series inside of the Bulldogs territory. Add to that the out of bounds kickoff by LSU and a 39 yard return and the offense had the table set for most of the game.
Tigers quarterback Jordan Jefferson is still a work in progress; although progress can be noticed, but with the defense and special teams at full form LSU can live with his development.
