Florida Survives First Game Without Tim Tebow (barely)
Written by Travis Pulver, Saturday September 04 2010
The Florida Gators have had the benefit of having a player like Tim Tebow behind center leading the team the last few years.
John Brantley has been given the unenviable task of making the Gator Nation forget about Tebow. After Saturdays 34-12 win against Miami of Ohio fans will likely not be forgetting Tebow anytime soon.
Brantley completed 17 of 25 passes for just 113 yards and two touchdowns on the day and can thank their defense for keeping them in the game long enough to win it.
"I didn’t imagine the offense’s incompetence that we experienced today," head coach Urban Meyer said.
