LSU Purple Love Extends to Atlanta

On Saturday night the LSU Tigers open their season against North Carolina in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome. Team spirit is already being displayed courtesy of two billboards titled “Love Purple, Live Gold”. The billboards honor LSU’s athletic tradition and academic excellence.
The billboards are part of a campaign to promote undergraduate admittance to the school. The athletically themed board reads "Where Passion Becomes Glory" and the academically themed board reads "Where Passion Becomes Genius."
The billboards where provided free of charge through the athletic department’s multi-media rights agreement CBS Collegiate Sports Properties; the owner of the billboards.
