The Buccaneers Tackle The Other Guys
Written by Daniel Turner, Tuesday August 10 2010
Head coach Raheem Morris extended a Bucs training camp tradition this morning when he ordered the team to board buses parked outside of their building. Instead of a morning padded practice the Bucs went to the movies.
Once ensconced in the comfy chairs of theatre 24 of the AMC Veterans multiplex it was impossible to find anyone who would rather have been in the heat of the practice field. Rookie wide receiver Mike Williams said of the cinematic diversion "I'd rather watch a movie than practice right now."
While opinions of the movie, “The Other Guys”, were mixed, everyone felt it beat wearing pads in the Florida heat. This is the seventh year that the Bucs have taken a movie break during camp.
