Delonte West, whom most of you know by now was LeBron James teammate in Cleveland, and during the playoffs last season, was also his mother’s lover.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Ramon Sessions and Ryan Hollins to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair.

According to reports, the Timberwolves will “almost certainly” buy Delonte West out of his current contract making him a free agent able to sign with any team.

West has $4.6 million remaining on his current contract, but reports say that the Wolves will buy the contract out for only $500,000. The Wolves have until August 5 to make the move, and according to numerous reports, that is most likely what they are going to do.

Once the Wolves buy West out, he will then become a free agent and would most likely draw a little bit of interest from some of the teams contending for a title.

West is a versatile shooter and ball handler that could be one of the first guards off the bench and be a big addition on a contending team.

So now the only thought is which team would be the best fit for Delonte?

West knows LeBron pretty well, and knows his mother even better, the Miami Heat would be a match made in heaven, ankle bracelet and all.

Well at least for Delonte and Gloria James anyway.

Delonte West will be lucky to not end up as a 7 eleven security guard. Hope he didn't spend all of his money on attorneys for that little scene from "Desperado". I'm sure before his career comes to a screaching halt, he'll do a term in either Atlanta or New Jersey, so all is not lost. Another upside is he'll never spend a cold night alone. Between Gloria and the hordes of irrate Cavalier's fans, i'm sure he'll be just fine.
