Floyd Landis, "I saw Lance Armstrong using drugs."
Floyd Landis is once again accusing Lance Armstrong of cheating during Armstrong's record-setting career.
Landis, in an interview scheduled to run tonight on ABC's "Nightline" at 11:35 p.m. ET, said that Armstrong used performance-enhancing drugs during his career.
Landis said that his former teammate and friend transfused his own blood, a banned practice that gives athletes an advantage by increasing their red blood cell count, which would therefore improve their endurance.
"Rather than go into the entire detail of every single time I've seen it, yes," Landis said. "I saw Lance Armstrong using drugs."
Landis also said that Armstrong gave him testosterone patches, a charge he has made before, and that he saw Armstrong receiving blood transfusions during races.
Armstrong's lawyer, Tim Herman, denied the allegations.
"Landis is a confessed perjurer and he is a liar, and I think, as Lance said, when you taste milk to see if it's sour, you take a first taste and you don't have to drink the whole carton to know it's all sour," Herman said.
Armstrong is currently riding in the Tour de France, which finishes up on Sunday. He has won the event seven times, but he is not one of the leaders heading into the final weekend of this year's event.
